Forest Ink – botanical writing treasures from the woods
Collection: The Alchemist
A set of four handmade botanical inks, drawn from the earth itself: walnut husk, oak gall, alder cone and logwood. Presented in a lovingly wood-burned wooden box — for the storyteller who writes and paints with nature as a muse.
Each ink is slowly extracted from natural materials and prepared by hand in small batches. The colours are deep, earthy and alive — each one carrying the character of the tree it came from.
The colours
- Walnut husk – warm brown with a soft golden undertone
- Oak gall – deep grey, almost black
- Alder cone – rust brown, soft and earthy
- Logwood – cool grey with a subtle purple glow
Because these inks are completely natural, shades may vary slightly from batch to batch.
Use & care
These inks are suitable for writing and painting with a dip pen, calligraphy nib or brush. They are not intended for fountain pens.
These inks contain no synthetic preservatives. Over time, a thin natural layer may form on the surface. This is normal and does not affect the quality or performance of the ink. The layer can simply be removed.
