Meet the artist

I’m Jill, maker of hand-shaped ceramics, inspired by the rhythm of nature. Each piece is born from stillness, love, and wonder – often nurtured by walks in the forest beside my studio, where foxes slip between the leaves and owls open their eyes at dusk.

My work is an ode to those moments: quiet, humble, and full of meaning. Every piece is made entirely by hand – from the shaping to the glaze – and I often create my own paint from natural pigments, drawn directly from earth, stone, or plant. In this way, nature returns not only in the form, but also in the colour of each piece.

I believe beauty lives in the imperfect, the natural, the unexpected. That’s why no two mugs are ever the same. Just like in the forest.
